P.I.M.P.S.:
I have never traded a stock, but I've always been so interested! I have all kinds of inclinations about technology.
Can you suggest any way of getting started with stock pimpin' without making common mistakes?
Thanks,
Damien

Re: getting started
Sat, March 11, 2006 - 12:35 AMIt's called paper trading and you don't use real money. You pretend to use real money to see if you will make money consistently before you use real money. If you can't CONSISTENTLY make money on paper, NEVER use real money. By consistent, I mean for every dollar you lose, you make two or more dollars. Expect to lose some, since there's no way around that. So you learn to minimize your risk in the trades you choose, and when the trades go against you, you minimize your losses with stop orders. You WILL experience losses and you have to learn to control your emotions and get out of the bad trades WITH MINIMUM DAMAGE. That way, you maximize the gains you make on your winning trades.
